Dear Pastor, Church, and All Supporters:
Matthew 28:19–20 — Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
2 Timothy 2:2 — And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
I am writing a Special Report on the work in Malawi and Mozambique. It has been seven years since the Bible Academy was operating there. The property is a turn-key operation ready for a full Bible school to train GOD’S men.
This was the main purpose in bringing Edwin Chipala to the USA when I did so — not merely to generate support for another man in another country in the name of mission work. We have enough of that going on around the world without evidence of real labouring.
I have organised for Pastor Eric Dinala and Bro. Edwin Chipala to teach in the Bible school at the mission property. I have already started sending lessons, and they have received them. I have had several WhatsApp live video sessions with Edwin and Eric; on another occasion a group of 15 pastors assembled to discuss via video chat. All are in agreement to attend the school and feel it has been too long — agreed, but not of my making.
I have sent $400.00 of my own support to Eric Dinala to help him buy food for the schooling.
I have asked Eric, Edwin, and Pastor Jackson Kopolo to work out a budget for food and supplies — Bibles, songbooks, writing materials, notebooks — and submit this to me. Should the LORD lay upon any to assist, please notify me so I can notify my pastor, and from there the funds would be sent on to Malawi via Eric or Edwin.
I also have a preacher’s school starting here in Mt. Hagen on Monday. Several pastors have already come in, and I am busy preparing — food, classroom materials, Bibles, notebooks, songbooks. Classes here in PNG start Monday; classes in Malawi start Tuesday. I will have live video time for the pastors and class in Malawi.
May our Lord bless the work of your hands, smile upon your lives, and impress upon you the urgency of the hour.
I want to thank each of you for your sacrificial support, prayers, and encouragement. I could not do what I do without your assistance.
In His Name,
Missionary Peter Halliman
