Dear Pastor, Church and All Supporters,

Matthew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

Ga 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Ga 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

This report will recall much history that has passed through the years, some names of those men who have stood before us, faithfully and steadfastly leaving a testament and legacy for others to fall in and follow.

One thing that I was always taught by my father was, is…. (don’t try to reinvent ministry, just do what you were taught)?

The year is 1959, my father was pastor of Macedonia Baptist Church in Chicago, Ill.  He had been attending Moody Bible Institute and sat under T.P. Simmons for his studies.  Four years of driving back and forth between Evansville, Indiana and Chicago where he lived and was pastor of the church, married to Georgia Chiribas (later became Halliman) Greek Orthodox, saved under dad’s preaching, later were married and had three children (Rhoda, John, Daniel).

Bro. Joe Bell, had a mission work going on in Puerto Rico, and was hosting a missions / Bible conference and amongst some who were invited, late Elder Wayne Cox, pastor in Memphis TN, and my father who was in Chicago.

Bro. Bell wanted dad to consider doing mission work around the surrounding islands and Bro. Cox supported the idea, however, dad said he was on his way to New Guinea.  This is also where my current pastor (Bro. Steve Fulton) was stationed in the Air Force in Puerto Rico and met my father for the first time.  These are the dots that are connected through history as we know it.  Many details are left out for the sake of time and this report.

Bro. Wayne Cox went on back to Memphis, his life and ministry became what it was, and his testimony follows into this day.  Bro. Joe Bell, continued, more exact detail can

be ascertained from my pastor and some who are of the elder years in San Juan Puerto Rico where the church is still in existence today.  I was not yet born so I cannot connect all the dots, only repeat what history I am told from those days.

Fred Halliman moved on and on the 6th of March 1960 departed Chicago with mum and my three elder siblings for New Guinea.

I was born in Papua New Guinea (Bulolo) on 10th April 1960 and so life began for me, years of mission work would be carried out, GOD would call many to saving grace, fifty-six local churches would be established with two bible schools established and many of the pastors schooled.  After twenty-six years of hands on, boots on ground mission work, the LORD moved my father on to Nigeria, Africa.

I was saved at a early age and called into the ministry by our LORD, in 1982, ordained in 1984 and on the mission field in Papua New Guinea in Jan of 1985.  I carried on in the mission work which, my father had established for another five years, in which, I returned to the US for malaria treatment.

1996, I was on my way to Malawi Africa for two years (my thoughts) to get a work established and train local pastors, this two year (idea) turned into twenty-years, remember it is the LORD who holds the calendar of our lives.

2015 I was full time back in Papua New Guinea and have continued to this date.  For the past years when I would return to the USA to visit supporters and show the slide presentations of the work, I was also invited to attend (Bethesda Bible Camp) in Boone, N.C. Pastor Dale Wallace, in 2016 I met some folks who were there from the church in San Juan Puerto Rico, we talked and I told them one day I would come to visit them as they also shared an interest in supporting the mission work that I was involved.

2021, I am home from PNG, and once again I have an opportunity to visit the Bible Camp (Boone, N.C.) and speak with some others from San Juan, I was given a contact number and I started communications with Bro Rafael and Sister Lydia.

It took the entire summer and into the winter months before I was able to put together an actual date that I could make my trip to San Juan and visit the church and brethren.

On the 16th of Dec 2021 I took my flight from Birmingham, AL to San Juan, Puerto Rico,

I arrived early in the morning hours at 0200 hrs, but by the time I was cleared and out for pickup it was near 0300 hrs.  Bro. Rafael and Sister Lydia were there to collect me and off we went to their residence.  I had a very warm and wonderful greeting and as we talked, had fellowship, and became acquainted with one another, the morning quickly passed.  Not having had much sleep, I was shown my quarters and soon I laid me down for some much-needed rest.
